About Dr. Diana Claudia Stir

I obtained my medical degree from the Victor Babeș University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara, Romania. Following this, I specialised in gynaecology and obstetrics in Germany. Since 2017, I have held my medical licence (Approbation) there.

I spent five years working at Goldberg-Klinik in Germany, where I gained extensive experience in obstetrics, gynaecological emergency care, and both inpatient and outpatient women’s healthcare. Additionally, I have expertise in hysteroscopy and minimally invasive procedures, including laparoscopic surgery.

Over time, I have increasingly focused on hormonal health, perimenopause, and menopause. In addressing these areas, I consider not only menopausal symptoms but also factors such as sleep, weight, sexuality, and preventive women’s healthcare. Hormone therapy can be part of the treatment plan, though non-hormonal options may also be suitable.

At present, I am practising as a gynaecologist in both Germany and Romania. I strongly believe that women should receive care tailored to their symptoms, medical history, and personal preferences. Every woman deserves to feel heard, taken seriously, and provided with clear information about the available options.

Low-threshold access to menopause care

When experiencing menopause symptoms, it can often be challenging to find appropriate, specialised care. Digital healthcare can help to lower that barrier. Women can access information at their convenience and receive medical guidance tailored to their symptoms, health, and personal preferences.

This is a key reason why I am involved with SeeMe-nopause. I believe it is crucial that quality menopause care is not only accessible but also remains medically thorough and personalised. Even online, a woman should feel listened to and receive clear explanations about the options that are best suited to her.

My role at SeeMe-nopause

Since 2025, I have been associated with SeeMe-nopause. Drawing on my experience as a gynaecologist, I contribute to care that is medically grounded and considers each woman’s personal circumstances.

For me, it is essential that information about menopausal symptoms and treatment options is presented honestly, clearly, and with medical precision. Women should be able to understand the options available to them and the factors that influence the choice of appropriate care.

A complete approach to menopause

Menopausal symptoms are not isolated from the broader context of a person’s life. Factors such as sleep, stress, work, relationships, diet, and exercise can all influence how a woman navigates this stage. This is why I prefer to take a holistic view rather than focusing solely on individual symptoms.

Effective menopause care combines medical expertise with consideration of a woman’s personal circumstances. Treatment may involve hormone replacement therapy or other medications, complemented by dietary and lifestyle adjustments where suitable. The goal is not only to alleviate symptoms but also to promote long-term health and enhance quality of life.
