About this doctor Dr. EAH Knauff?

I completed my medical training at the University of Amsterdam, after which I earned my PhD in Utrecht for my research into early menopause. I have now been a gynaecologist for over 12 years, during which time I have seen many women with menopause-related issues.
I am married with three sons and cherish the time we spend together. Alongside my family life, I work as a gynaecologist and medical manager at the Centre for Fertility at the Dijklander Hospital in Purmerend & Hoorn. I also perform gynaecological ultrasound scans for GPs and act as a medical advisor for SeeMe-nopause.
My clear vision is to guide women through menopause, helping them find the right support and treatment for their symptoms. Patient-focused, empathetic and enthusiastic. My goal? To help women emerge from menopause stronger and healthier.

Menopause is a natural phase that almost half of the world's population experiences. Women can experience many significant menopausal symptoms. Hormonal fluctuations affect the entire body, often to a greater extent than many doctors are aware of or have been taught.
