How does the intake and product recommendation process work?

Eight out of ten women going through menopause experience symptoms to some extent. Yet, many women do not receive the support they need. This is unfortunate, as there are numerous ways to alleviate these symptoms. Through SeeMe-nopause, you can access reliable information and personalised menopause care, including (medical) advice from doctors. Online, yet still personal. But how does online care actually work?

An intake provides doctors with insight into your situation

An intake helps doctors gain a clear understanding of your situation. The medical questionnaire includes all relevant questions about your symptoms, health, and lifestyle. You can complete the intake at your own pace, from the comfort of your own home.

Step 1: The medical questionnaire

Log in or create an account and fill in the comprehensive medical questionnaire. This gives the doctor a complete overview of your situation, symptoms, and medical history. You will be asked questions about:

  • Your menstruation
  • Symptoms and how much they affect you
  • Medication use
  • Medical history

At SeeMe-nopause, we value self-management, which is why the final question allows you to indicate your treatment preference:

The treatment preference is exactly that—a preference. In some cases, it may not be possible. The doctor will always explain why and base their advice on your symptoms, medical history, and overall situation.

Once you have provided some personal information, you can proceed with the payment. We only request the information necessary to process your request.

Step 2: The personalised product recommendation

Based on the questionnaire, a doctor will prepare a personalised product recommendation tailored to your symptoms, medical situation, and treatment preference within 48 hours. You will receive an email notification once the recommendation is ready in the chat section of your personal and secure account.

The doctor will provide a product recommendation for the first three months. Since maintaining a healthy lifestyle is key to navigating menopause in a balanced and energetic way, you will also receive free nutrition and lifestyle tips from our hormone therapist.

You decide which products you would like to order and indicate this in the chat. You then complete the ID check and make the payment for the three-month treatment. The doctor will send the prescription to the pharmacy, and within three days, you will receive the products at home.

The advice will be saved in your account for 30 days, so you can take your time to think it over. If you have any questions about the product recommendation, you can contact the doctor via the chat.

Step 3: Starting the treatment and aftercare

Once the products arrive at your home, you can begin the treatment. During the treatment, the doctor will check in with you to see how you are progressing. If you have any questions in the meantime, you can ask the doctor treating you via the chat.

We recommend keeping track of how you are feeling and how your symptoms evolve. Why? The product recommendation is for the first three months. After this period, the treatment will be reviewed, and the next steps will be determined. You will receive timely notifications from us regarding this.
