About this doctor Dr. Peter Mester?

As a GP, I see women going through menopause in my practice every day. I notice how confusing they find their symptoms and that they are often unsure about what is happening to their bodies. These symptoms can seem to appear out of the blue, leaving them unsure of the cause. I help women to understand what is happening during menopause and to their bodies, as well as how they can alleviate their symptoms. My approach combines medical evaluations with advice on nutrition, lifestyle and emotional wellbeing.
To maintain my European licence, I take part in an annual medical appraisal. I regularly undertake further training and courses to ensure my knowledge remains up to date. I also hold an American licence to practise medicine in the United States.
I have been working with SeeMe-nopause since 2024. Since joining, I have been helping women with a variety of symptoms to navigate menopause more comfortably.

My perspective on online healthcare

Responsible digital support is, and will continue to be, an essential part of the future of healthcare. It makes medical information and support more accessible to a wider range of people. It will never completely replace face-to-face medical appointments, nor does it need to. Online healthcare can empower people to make healthier choices, even if they are unable to visit a specialist or doctor in person.

My role at SeeMe-nopause

I first came into contact with SeeMe-nopause several years ago. I was impressed by their approach to providing medical information and online healthcare. Their collaboration with other doctors and medical specialists ensures a responsible process, and they are transparent in their working methods. On this platform, I help women with the various symptoms related to this changing hormonal phase of life.

Responsible online healthcare can help women navigate menopause more comfortably.

A natural stage in a woman's life

Menopause is a natural stage in every woman's life. Eight out of ten women experience symptoms during menopause. They often simply put up with them, partly because they don't realise the symptoms are linked to this stage of life. In my consultations, I help women to understand what is happening, and also what they can do to alleviate their symptoms. I discuss a range of treatment options with them, from hormone therapy and non-hormonal medication to supplements and lifestyle adjustments. The goal is to help them navigate menopause more comfortably, with the right information and suitable treatments.
