Q: Will my treatment be covered?

This depends on your health insurance provider. We recommend you check with your own insurance company. Supplements are not usually covered.

Q: What is a consultation and how does it work?

During the consultation, you will complete a comprehensive medical questionnaire. You can also state your preferred type of treatment. Based on your answers, a doctor will prepare a treatment plan for you within 48 hours. If you approve this plan, a pharmacy will dispatch the products to your home within 3 days.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

Our partner pharmacies will dispatch your order within 3 days. You can then typically start your treatment straight away.

Q: Are there delivery charges?

For prescription medicines, delivery is included in the price. For over-the-counter products, there is a delivery charge of £ 4.21. We offer free delivery on orders over £4 0. If your order includes both, delivery is free.

Q: Can I change, cancel or return my order?

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, it cannot be changed . If you have ordered the wrong product, or wish to change or cancel your order, please contact our customer service team immediately. Over-the-counter products can only be cancelled if they have not yet been prepared or dispatched by the pharmacy. Prescription medicines can be cancelled if they have not yet been assessed by a doctor. Returns are only accepted for over-the-counter products in their original unopened and undamaged packaging, within 14 days of dispatch.

What is Angeliq?

Angeliq is a hormone therapy designed to relieve menopausal symptoms. It contains two hormones: estradiol (bio-identical, resembling the natural female hormone) and drospirenone (a synthetic hormone). This combination can help with symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, and mood swings, which are common during menopause.

What can you expect from Angeliq?

When should I use Angeliq?

Take one tablet daily, at the same time each day.
Continue taking the tablet without interruption, even during menstruation.
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Angeliq may also help with:

Sleep problems
Fatigue
Irritability

Do not use Angeliq if you:

Are allergic to estradiol, drospirenone, or other ingredients.
Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Have an increased risk of blood clots, active thrombosis, or a history of thrombosis.
Have a severe liver condition or a tumour sensitive to oestrogens.
Have certain heart or kidney problems (see the leaflet for details).

Consult the prescribing doctor if you are taking other medications. Angeliq may interact with other drugs.

Possible side effects of Angeliq

Common (in 1 to 10 out of 100 people):

Headache
Abdominal pain
Tender or painful breasts
Irregular bleeding
Vaginal discharge
Mood changes

Uncommon (in 1 to 10 out of 1,000 people):

High blood pressure
Weight gain
Muscle cramps
Nausea
Back pain

Rare (in fewer than 1 out of 1,000 people):

Blood clots
Liver problems
Allergic reactions

These side effects can, in rare cases, lead to serious conditions such as blood clots or liver problems. Always contact a doctor immediately in such cases.

Risks of hormone therapy

The use of medication carries risks, and this also applies to hormone therapy:

Increased risk of breast cancer and uterine cancer with prolonged use.
Slightly increased risk of cardiovascular disease (such as thrombosis).
Slightly increased risk of stroke. Smoking, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol further increase this risk.
