This depends on your health insurance provider. We recommend you check with your own insurance company. Supplements are not usually covered.

Q: What is a consultation and how does it work?

During the consultation, you will complete a comprehensive medical questionnaire. You can also state your preferred type of treatment. Based on your answers, a doctor will prepare a treatment plan for you within 48 hours. If you approve this plan, a pharmacy will dispatch the products to your home within 3 days.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

Our partner pharmacies will dispatch your order within 3 days. You can then typically start your treatment straight away.

Q: Are there delivery charges?

For prescription medicines, delivery is included in the price. For over-the-counter products, there is a delivery charge of £ 4.21. We offer free delivery on orders over £4 0. If your order includes both, delivery is free.

Q: Can I change, cancel or return my order?

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, it cannot be changed . If you have ordered the wrong product, or wish to change or cancel your order, please contact our customer service team immediately. Over-the-counter products can only be cancelled if they have not yet been prepared or dispatched by the pharmacy. Prescription medicines can be cancelled if they have not yet been assessed by a doctor. Returns are only accepted for over-the-counter products in their original unopened and undamaged packaging, within 14 days of dispatch.

What is Elleste Duet?

Elleste Duet is a hormone therapy designed to alleviate menopausal symptoms. It contains bioidentical and synthetic hormones: estradiol (a form of oestrogen) and norethisterone (a form of progesterone). These hormones compensate for the oestrogen deficiency experienced during menopause, which can help reduce symptoms such as hot flushes, poor sleep, vaginal dryness, and mood swings. Elleste Duet is intended for women with a uterus who are experiencing menopausal symptoms. This medication is available by prescription only.

What can you expect from Elleste Duet?

When should I use Elleste Duet?

Take one tablet daily, following the schedule provided by your doctor.
Take the tablets at the same time each day.
Not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

For which symptoms is Elleste Duet used?

Elleste Duet may also help with:

Mood swings
Fatigue
Irritability

Do not use Elleste Duet if you:

Are allergic to estradiol, norethisterone, or other ingredients.
Have or have had blood clots (such as thrombosis or pulmonary embolism).
Have or have had liver disease or gallbladder disease.
Have or have had breast cancer or another hormone-sensitive cancer.
Have unexplained vaginal bleeding.
Have a severe risk of heart or vascular disease.

Inform your prescribing doctor if you are taking other medications. This medication may interact with other drugs.

Possible side effects of Elleste Duet

Common (affecting 1 to 10 out of 100 people):

Headache
Abdominal pain
Nausea
Tender breasts
Breakthrough bleeding or spotting (light bleeding between periods)

Uncommon (affecting 1 to 10 out of 1,000 people):

Mood changes
Weight gain
Fluid retention
Migraine
Back pain

Rare (affecting fewer than 1 in 1,000 people):

Skin rash
Gallbladder disorders
Increased risk of blood clots

In rare cases, these side effects can lead to serious conditions, such as blood clots. Always contact a doctor immediately in such cases.

Risks of hormone therapy

The use of medication carries risks, and this also applies to hormone therapy:

Increased risk of breast cancer and uterine cancer with long-term use.
Slightly increased risk of cardiovascular disease (such as thrombosis).
Slightly increased risk of stroke. Smoking, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol further increase this risk.
