During the consultation, you will complete a comprehensive medical questionnaire. You can also state your preferred type of treatment. Based on your answers, a doctor will prepare a product recommendation for you within 48 hours. If you approve this recommendation, a pharmacy will dispatch the products to your home within 3 days.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

Our partner pharmacies will dispatch your order within 3 days. You can then typically start your treatment straight away.

Q: Are there delivery charges?

For prescription medicines, delivery is included in the price. For over-the-counter products, there is a delivery charge of £ 4.21. We offer free delivery on orders over £4 0. If your order includes both, delivery is free.

Q: Can I change, cancel or return my order?

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, it cannot be changed . If you have ordered the wrong product, or wish to change or cancel your order, please contact our customer service team immediately. Over-the-counter products can only be cancelled if they have not yet been prepared or dispatched by the pharmacy. Prescription medicines can be cancelled if they have not yet been assessed by a doctor. Returns are only accepted for over-the-counter products in their original unopened and undamaged packaging, within 14 days of dispatch.

What is Pantoprazole?

Pantoprazole is a gastric acid inhibitor that reduces the production of stomach acid. Gastrointestinal complaints are common during menopause, and pantoprazole can help alleviate symptoms such as heartburn and reflux. It belongs to a group of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors. By lowering stomach acid production, it provides relief from these symptoms. The tablets are hormone-free and do not interfere with your hormonal balance.

What can you expect from Pantoprazole?

When should I use Pantoprazole?

Pantoprazole is usually taken once daily. Use the medication for as long as your doctor has instructed.

For which symptoms should you use Pantoprazole?

Pantoprazole may also provide relief from:

Mild stomach discomfort
Reduced appetite

Do not use Pantoprazole if you:

Are allergic to pantoprazole or any of its ingredients
Are taking atazanavir (a medication for HIV)
Are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless advised otherwise by your doctor
Have severe liver problems; consult your doctor beforehand

Inform your prescribing doctor if you are taking any other medications.

Possible side effects of Pantoprazole

Common (affecting 1 to 10 in 100 people):

Headache
Abdominal pain
Diarrhoea or constipation
Nausea or flatulence

Occasional (affecting 1 to 10 in 1,000 people):

Dizziness
Sleep disturbances
Skin rash or itching

Rare (affecting fewer than 1 in 1,000 people):

Allergic reactions, such as swelling of the face, lips, or tongue
Severe skin reactions
Liver problems

In rare cases, these side effects may lead to serious conditions, such as severe allergic reactions or skin issues. Always contact a doctor immediately if you experience any of these symptoms.
