Do not use Venlafaxine if you:
- Are allergic to venlafaxine or any of its ingredients
- Are using or have recently used MAO inhibitors (these are sometimes prescribed for depression)
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless advised otherwise by your doctor
- Have certain heart rhythm disorders or an increased risk of these
This medication can cause dizziness. Take care when driving or operating machinery, especially at the start of treatment.
