This depends on your health insurance provider. We recommend you check with your own insurance company. Supplements are not usually covered.

Q: What is a consultation and how does it work?

During the consultation, you will complete a comprehensive medical questionnaire. You can also state your preferred type of treatment. Based on your answers, a doctor will prepare a treatment plan for you within 48 hours. If you approve this plan, a pharmacy will dispatch the products to your home within 3 days.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

Our partner pharmacies will dispatch your order within 3 days. You can then typically start your treatment straight away.

Q: Are there delivery charges?

For prescription medicines, delivery is included in the price. For over-the-counter products, there is a delivery charge of £ 4.21. We offer free delivery on orders over £4 0. If your order includes both, delivery is free.

Q: Can I change, cancel or return my order?

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, it cannot be changed . If you have ordered the wrong product, or wish to change or cancel your order, please contact our customer service team immediately. Over-the-counter products can only be cancelled if they have not yet been prepared or dispatched by the pharmacy. Prescription medicines can be cancelled if they have not yet been assessed by a doctor. Returns are only accepted for over-the-counter products in their original unopened and undamaged packaging, within 14 days of dispatch.

What is Wegovy?

Wegovy is a weekly injection containing semaglutide, designed to support weight loss in women who are overweight or obese, including those going through menopause. It is intended for adults with a BMI of ≥30, or ≥27 if accompanied by weight-related conditions such as high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, or type 2 diabetes.

Semaglutide works by activating the GLP-1 receptor, which helps to reduce hunger and promotes a feeling of fullness more quickly. Wegovy should always be used in conjunction with healthy eating and regular exercise. This medication is available by prescription only. What can you expect from Wegovy?

Wegovy is a self-administered weekly injection that helps to reduce hunger and regulate appetite. Some effects may be noticeable within a few weeks, with maximum weight loss typically achieved after several months. The dosage is gradually increased as directed by your doctor. This treatment is intended for long-term use, in combination with healthy eating and exercise, and aims to make weight loss more sustainable for women during menopause.

When should I use Wegovy?

Inject once a week, on the same day each week
Administer the injection under the skin of your abdomen, thigh, or upper arm

For which conditions is Wegovy used?

For overweight or obesity (BMI ≥30)
For BMI ≥27 with weight-related conditions such as high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, or type 2 diabetes

Do not use Wegovy if you:

Are allergic to semaglutide or any other ingredients
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Are using other GLP-1 agonists or weight loss medications
Have severe liver or kidney problems
Have issues with your pancreas or thyroid
Are unsure or are taking other medications: consult your doctor

Schedule for adults:

Week 1–4: 0.25 mg, once a week (1 pen = 4 weeks)
Week 5–8: 0.5 mg, once a week (1 pen = 4 weeks)
Week 9–12: 1 mg, once a week (1 pen = 4 weeks)
Week 13–16: 1.7 mg, once a week (1 pen = 4 weeks)
From week 17: 2.4 mg, once a week (recommended dose) (1 pen = 4 weeks)

Possible side effects of Wegovy

Common (more than 1 in 10):

Nausea
Diarrhoea
Vomiting
Abdominal pain
Constipation

Uncommon (less than 1 in 10):

Headache
Fatigue
Flatulence
Dizziness

Rare (less than 1 in 100):

Inflammation of the pancreas (severe abdominal pain: contact your doctor immediately)
Gallstones

Very rare (less than 1 in 1,000):

Severe allergic reaction (such as swelling of the face or throat, breathing difficulties: seek immediate medical attention)

Within 48 hours, a doctor will prepare a treatment plan for the first 3 months, tailored to your symptoms, medical situation and treatment preferences. You'll then decide which products you wish to order, complete the ID check and make the payment.

Start your treatment
You will receive the products from the pharmacy at home within 3 days, enabling you to begin your treatment promptly. During the treatment, we will follow up with you, and you can also ask any questions via the chat.
