Q: What is a consultation and how does it work?

During the consultation, you will complete a comprehensive medical questionnaire. You can also state your preferred type of treatment. Based on your answers, a doctor will prepare a treatment plan for you within 48 hours. If you approve this plan, a pharmacy will dispatch the products to your home within 3 days.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

Our partner pharmacies will dispatch your order within 3 days. You can then typically start your treatment straight away.

Q: Are there delivery charges?

For prescription medicines, delivery is included in the price. For over-the-counter products, there is a delivery charge of £4.21. We offer free delivery on orders over £40. If your order includes both, delivery is free.

Q: Can I change, cancel or return my order?

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, it cannot be changed . If you have ordered the wrong product, or wish to change or cancel your order, please contact our customer service team immediately. Over-the-counter products can only be cancelled if they have not yet been prepared or dispatched by the pharmacy. Prescription medicines can be cancelled if they have not yet been assessed by a doctor. Returns are only accepted for over-the-counter products in their original unopened and undamaged packaging, within 14 days of dispatch.

What is the Wegovy pill?

The Wegovy pill is a medication designed to support weight loss for individuals with overweight or obesity, including during menopause. It is non-hormonal and contains the active ingredient semaglutide, which works by reducing hunger, helping you to eat less. The Wegovy pill is intended for women with a BMI of 30 or higher, or from 27 if additional health risks are present, such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes.

Semaglutide activates the GLP-1 receptor, which helps to reduce hunger and promotes a feeling of fullness more quickly. Always use Wegovy alongside a healthy diet and regular exercise. What can you expect from the Wegovy pill?

When should I use the Wegovy pill?

You take the Wegovy pill once a day. You typically start with the lowest dose and then gradually increase it.
Swallow the tablet at the same time each day.
This medication is only suitable if your BMI is 30 or higher, or from 27 with additional health risks.
Not suitable if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under 18 years of age.

For which conditions is the Wegovy pill used?

For overweight or obesity (BMI ≥30)
For BMI ≥27 with weight-related conditions such as high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, or type 2 diabetes

Do not use the Wegovy pill if you:

Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Are allergic to semaglutide or other ingredients in the pill.
Are already using a GLP-1 agonist (other medications with a similar effect).
Have severe liver or kidney problems.
Have issues with your pancreas or thyroid.
Are unsure or are taking other medications: consult your doctor.

Possible side effects of the Wegovy pill

Common (in more than 1 in 10 people):

Nausea
Diarrhoea
Vomiting
Abdominal pain
Constipation

Sometimes (in 1 in 100 to 1 in 10 people):

Dizziness
Fatigue
Flatulence
Belching

Rare (in less than 1 in 1,000 people):

Inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis)
Gallstones
Severe allergic reactions, such as severe abdominal pain or breathing difficulties. Always contact a doctor immediately in these cases.
