What is Solgar® Chromium Picolinate?

Chromium (Chroom) Picolinate is a dietary supplement containing chromium in the form of picolinate, a highly absorbable version of this mineral. How to use Chromium (Chroom) Picolinate

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients
Avoid use if you have impaired kidney or liver function.

When should you exercise extra caution?

Chromium may lower blood sugar levels; diabetics should take this into consideration.
Avoid taking chromium at the same time as levothyroxine; ensure a gap of at least 2 hours between doses.
NSAIDs may increase chromium absorption and reduce its excretion.
Chromium may raise good HDL cholesterol levels when used alongside beta-blockers.
Beta-blockers may have an enhanced effect.
