If you have ordered the wrong product, or wish to change or cancel your order, please contact our customer service team immediately. Over-the-counter products can only be cancelled if they have not yet been prepared or dispatched by the pharmacy. Prescription medicines can be cancelled if they have not yet been assessed by a doctor. Returns are only accepted for over-the-counter products in their original unopened and undamaged packaging, within 14 days of dispatch.

What is Solgar® Vitamin A?

Vitamin A 5000 IU is a dietary supplement specifically formulated to provide your body with additional vitamin A. During menopause, you may notice that your skin or mouth becomes drier, or you may experience burning sensations in the mouth. Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and helps to support healthy mucous membranes.* Each tablet contains 1502 mcg of vitamin A, derived from retinyl palmitate, a highly absorbable form.

Vitamin A 5000 IU is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.

How to use Vitamin A 5000 IU

When should you not use Vitamin A 5000 IU?

Do not use if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

When should you take extra care?

Statins, the contraceptive injection and oral contraceptives can increase your vitamin A levels. Use this supplement with caution.
Use vitamin A supplements with caution if you are taking retinoids or tetracycline antibiotics. Vitamin A and zinc can interact.
High doses of vitamin A can affect calcium absorption (with vitamin D).
