Over-the-counter products can only be cancelled if they have not yet been prepared or dispatched by the pharmacy. Prescription medicines can be cancelled if they have not yet been assessed by a doctor. Returns are only accepted for over-the-counter products in their original unopened and undamaged packaging, within 14 days of dispatch.

What is Solgar® Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D3?

Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D3 is a dietary supplement specifically formulated to support bone and muscle health, even during menopause.* During this stage, hormonal changes can reduce your body’s ability to absorb calcium, potentially impacting bone strength and muscle function. Calcium helps maintain strong bones and teeth, while vitamin D3 aids calcium absorption and supports normal muscle function.* This supplement contains calcium in the form of citrate, which is highly absorbable, and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). It is suitable for vegetarians.

You may notice improvements within a few weeks of use, but the maximum effect is typically seen after 3 months. Results may vary between individuals. A balanced lifestyle can enhance nutrient absorption, making supplements more effective.

How to use Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D3

Take 4 tablets daily, preferably with a meal. Swallow the tablets with plenty of water. This supplement is suitable for long-term use.

Note: Due to natural variations in the ingredients, the colour of the tablets may vary. This does not affect the efficacy or quality of the product.

If you are taking medication, are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a medical condition, consult your healthcare provider before use.

When should you not use Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D3?

Do not use if you have elevated calcium levels in the blood (hypercalcaemia), an excessively high vitamin D level, or impaired kidney function.
Not suitable for individuals with sarcoidosis.
Not suitable for children under 1 year of age.

When should you be extra cautious?

Exercise caution with iron supplements, as calcium can delay absorption.
Do not combine it with a synthetic vitamin D derivative, as this increases the risk of hypercalcaemia.
Be cautious when taking medications that increase sodium excretion in the urine.
Take care with beta-blockers, levothyroxine, bisphosphonates, eltrombopag, and antibiotics, as calcium can reduce the absorption of these medications.
Exercise caution when using heart medication.
