Q: What is a consultation and how does it work?

During the consultation, you will complete a comprehensive medical questionnaire. You can also state your preferred type of treatment. Based on your answers, a doctor will prepare a treatment plan for you within 48 hours. If you approve this plan, a pharmacy will dispatch the products to your home within 3 days.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

Our partner pharmacies will dispatch your order within 3 days. You can then typically start your treatment straight away.

Q: Are there delivery charges?

For prescription medicines, delivery is included in the price. For over-the-counter products, there is a delivery charge of £ 4.21. We offer free delivery on orders over £4 0. If your order includes both, delivery is free.

If you have ordered the wrong product, or wish to change or cancel your order, please contact our customer service team immediately. What is CagriSema?

CagriSema is a new medication administered via subcutaneous injection for the treatment of overweight and obesity. It contains two active ingredients: semaglutide and cagrilintide. This medication is designed to help reduce appetite, lower food intake, and support weight loss. Studies are also investigating its effects on blood sugar levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes. At present, the medication remains in the clinical research phase and has not been approved or made available within the European Union. We will provide updates as soon as new information becomes available.

How does CagriSema work?

The effectiveness of CagriSema lies in the combination of semaglutide and cagrilintide. Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist, a hormone that aids the body in regulating blood sugar levels by stimulating insulin production. It also helps to reduce hunger and slow gastric emptying. Cagrilintide, on the other hand, mimics the natural hormone amylin, which is produced by the beta cells in the pancreas. This hormone plays a key role in appetite regulation by slowing gastric emptying, thereby promoting a feeling of fullness and reducing appetite. This makes CagriSema a particularly promising option for women experiencing weight gain during menopause, where lifestyle changes alone may not suffice.

Research on CagriSema

The most notable findings to date stem from phase 3 clinical studies. After 68 weeks, the average weight loss observed was approximately 20.4%.

In another phase 3 study, an average weight loss of 15.7% was recorded after 68 weeks, alongside improvements in blood sugar levels.

In a further phase 3 study, the average weight loss was 14.2%.

Further research is required to conclusively determine the safety, efficacy, and appropriate dosing of the medication. We will keep you informed as new data becomes available.
