Q: What is a consultation and how does it work?

During the consultation, you will complete a comprehensive medical questionnaire. You can also state your preferred type of treatment. Based on your answers, a doctor will prepare a product recommendation for you within 48 hours. If you approve this recommendation, a pharmacy will dispatch the products to your home within 3 days.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

Our partner pharmacies will dispatch your order within 3 days. You can then typically start your treatment straight away.

Q: Are there delivery charges?

For prescription medicines, delivery is included in the price. For over-the-counter products, there is a delivery charge of £ 4.21. We offer free delivery on orders over £4 0. If your order includes both, delivery is free.

Q: Can I change, cancel or return my order?

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, it cannot be changed . If you have ordered the wrong product, or wish to change or cancel your order, please contact our customer service team immediately. Over-the-counter products can only be cancelled if they have not yet been prepared or dispatched by the pharmacy. Prescription medicines can be cancelled if they have not yet been assessed by a doctor. Returns are only accepted for over-the-counter products in their original unopened and undamaged packaging, within 14 days of dispatch.

What is Zoely?

Zoely is a combination pill primarily prescribed as a contraceptive. This tablet can also provide relief from menopausal symptoms when used as hormone therapy. It is intended for women who still have a uterus and/or still (occasionally) menstruate (perimenopause). The tablet contains two active ingredients: bioidentical estradiol and nomegestrol, a synthetic hormone that mimics the effects of progesterone. These hormones help stabilise hormone levels, which may reduce menopausal symptoms. This medication is available only by prescription.

What can you expect from Zoely?

Zoely is a tablet taken daily. It works by supplementing and stabilising the levels of female hormones in your body. This can help reduce menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, and poor sleep. The effects and results vary from person to person, but many women notice a reduction in symptoms after a few weeks. It is often prescribed as a contraceptive. The combination of active ingredients suppresses ovulation and makes the cervical mucus more difficult for sperm to penetrate.

When should I use Zoely?

Take it daily, following the schedule on the packaging. A so-called "break week" is not necessary.
Take the tablets at the same time each day.

Do not use Zoely if you:

Are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Have a severe liver condition.
Have certain types of cancer, such as breast cancer or uterine cancer.
Experience unexplained vaginal bleeding.

Possible side effects of Zoely

Common (in 1 to 10 out of 100 users):

Headache
Abdominal pain
Nausea
Tender or sore breasts
Irregular bleeding

Uncommon (in 1 to 10 out of 1,000 users):

Mood swings
Weight gain
Fatigue

Rare (in fewer than 1 out of 1,000 users):

Blood clots in the legs or lungs
Severe allergic reactions

In rare cases, these side effects can lead to serious symptoms, such as chest pain, shortness of breath, sudden difficulty breathing, severe headache, or swelling in one leg. Always contact a doctor immediately in these situations.

Risks of hormone therapy

Using medication can carry risks, and this also applies to hormone therapy:

Increased risk of breast cancer and uterine cancer with long-term use.
Slightly increased risk of cardiovascular disease (such as thrombosis).
Slightly increased risk of stroke. Smoking, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol further increase this risk.
