Dr. Oana-Raluca Avram
Dr. Oana-Raluca Avram is a GP specialising in physical and rehabilitative medicine. She also taught a course in medical genetics and rehabilitation sciences at the university in Romania where she graduated. Alongside working as a GP, Dr. Avram works for SeeMe-nopause where she supports women in their journey through menopause.

Who is Oana-Raluca Avram?
Dr. Avram obtained her Bachelor's degree in general medicine in 2005 from the Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timisoara, Romania. In 2006, she started working as a primary care doctor at the Timisoara Municipal Hospital, where she stayed until 2012. She also finished her residency in physical and rehabilitative medicine in Timisoara.
From 2013 to 2018, she worked as a senior doctor at Milimed Clinic. She currently works as a senior doctor at RAL-CLAU MEDICALS and since 2021 at the Timisoara County Hospital.
Alongside working as a primary care doctor, Dr. Avram taught a course in medical genetics and rehabilitation sciences for the Health Sciences programme at the Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy where she graduated in 2005.
What are her professional responsibilities?
As a specialist in physical and rehabilitative medicine, Dr. Avram treats people with muscle, tendon, joints and ligaments disorders. She also has the ambition to further specialise in physical and rehabilitative medicine. In addition to her hospital job, she also works for SeeMe-nopause.
Dr. Avram: “Over the years of working as a doctor, I’ve witnessed that what people with medical problems need most is quick access to adequate treatment. The role of telemedicine in the healthcare ecosystem has grown immensely, making healthcare more accessible, efficient and patient-centred. I believe that digital health services should be and remain an integral part of the medical care system.”
